I deeply enjoy participating in the academic community that makes this work possible. These activities reflect some of the ways I stay involved:
I currently serve as the Public Relations Officer for the MICCAI Student Board, where I regularly support communication around student initiatives, opportunities, and events within the MICCAI Community. I also serve as the Communications Officer for the Graduate Student Association in the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics at Johns Hopkins.
During my undergraduate studies, I participated in student-run organizations as the External Vice President of the Filipino Students Association and later as Events Coordinator for the Midwest Association of Filipino Americans, helping organize cultural programming and outreach initiatives. Since graduating, I have returned as a career panelist at their annual conference, the Midwest Filipino American Summit. These experiences continue to inform how I approach communication and community engagement in my current roles.
